Staying near Alberobello: in the centre or in Castellana Grotte?

Two ways to experience the trulli

Staying in the centre of Alberobello means waking up among the trulli of the old town and getting around on foot. It makes sense if the most important thing for you is to be inside the town.

Staying in Castellana Grotte, about 10 km away, means choosing a trullo all to yourselves in a quiet setting, with a garden and parking, and driving to Alberobello for the day, whenever you like, in a few minutes along the provincial road.

Alberobello is one of the most visited places in the region, especially in summer and at weekends. For many guests it's an advantage to visit it by day and then come back in the evening to a quiet place.
