Alberobello is famous worldwide for its trulli, the cone-roofed stone dwellings typical of this part of Puglia. The trulli of Alberobello are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Practical tips
It is one of the most visited places in the region: in summer and at weekends it's best to arrive early in the morning or late in the afternoon. After seeing the trulli of Alberobello, you can come back to sleep in a real trullo, without the crowds.
