Polignano a Mare attracts many visitors in both summer and winter for its old town right on the sea, with balconies perched above the Mediterranean. Another landmark is the small beach of Lama Monachile, set between the rocks.
Practical tips
On the busiest days the old town is very crowded: it's best to arrive early. From the B&B you go by car and can be back in the trullo's garden for the evening.
